An informational video on some early pregnancy symptoms

This was created for the 2009 48 Hour Film Festival in Boston. Over 100 Boston teams all made short films within 48 hours, given the following parameters: a magnet as a prop; "Yes! I mean I hope so." as a line of dialog; and Marty or Mary Quinzani (2nd in command) as a character. Our team drew Mockumentary as our random genre. We created a basic storyline and then went off and shot about 2 hours of footage. I edited like mad and we turned it in just a few minutes before the deadline.
We won audience choice for our screening night, best editing, and best performer (Ryan Petti). Thanks for watching!

Happy Holidays 2008

Rheri and Jim hope to make a holiday film every year for the rest of their lives. This 4th annual installment is inspired by the silence in Silent Night.

This was shot entirely using a pocket sized Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35 camera (with a splotch on the lens, sigh), a good tripod, and a ziplock bag.

I'm performing improv in March and April by Jim K.

I'm in an improv show called Slainte, that will run fridays at 8pm at Improv Boston, March 6 - April 17. Improv Boston is in central square in Cambridge. Here's all the show/tickets info and a picture of my cast mate:

It's shaping up to be a good show. Very comfortable and with moments of nice storytelling. Not really the run around shouting type of improv. It all unfolds in real time as we hang out at an irish bar. It reads a bit like a play, but we make it all up each night.

I'm hoping I can pull off a decent irish accent and make up a good story or 2 on the spot. If you live in the area, come check out one of the shows :)
